Apr. 22, 1891: Homer Brooke, the New York mold maker, has purchased the glass works of Seidlmyer Bros.,  Long Island City, NY, and will operate them on glass insulators. [China, Glass & Lamps, Apr. 22, 1891, p. 21]
Jun. 14, 1892: Homer Brooke Mold Co., Newark, NJ & New York, NY, articles of incorporation were recorded.  Co. to make tools & molds for glass mfg.  Incorporators: Homer Brooke, Jersey City; Julius T. Wagner, Chatham, John L. Bates, New York. [China, Glass & Lamps, Jun. 22, 1892, p. 23]
Feb. 21, 1894: Homer Brooke Mold Co. have removed from 108 Liberty St. to 44 Barclay St., New York.  Concern was established in 1868. [China, Glass & Lamps, Feb. 21, 1894, p. 19]

Aug. 17, 1897: Pat #588,318 for Apparatus for Manufacturing Articles of Glass issued to Homer Brooke, Jersey City, NJ, assigned 3/8 to John C. Grout, Brooklyn, NY.  Filed Jan. 14, 1897.
Aug. 17, 1897: Pat #588,319 for Molding Glass issued to Homer Brooke, Jersey City, NJ, assigned 3/8 to John C. Grout, Brooklyn, NY.  Filed Jan. 14, 1897. 
Dec. 28, 1897: Pat #596,319 for Manufacture of Necks of Glass Bottles issued to Homer Brooke, Jersey City, NJ.  Filed Oct. 9, 1896.
1897/1898: Homer Brooke operated a small glass factory on Columbia St., in South Brooklyn, starting in Summer 1897.  John C. Grout (Franklin Ave., Brooklyn) paid the expenses of getting the 1897 patent, and later got George E. Stevens (46 Maiden Lane, NYC) to put up $2,000 to operate the Columbia St. plant. 1899: Homer Brooke quit his mold making business.
Feb. 1, 1899: Homer Brooke, New York mold maker & inventor, has organized a company in Portland, ME, named Standard Flow Glass Co., with capital of $120, to utilize his direct process from tank to lear. [China, Glass & Lamps, Feb. 2, 1899, p. 18]
Feb. 16, 1899: Homer Brooke, of Jersey City, NJ, is negotiating with the Board of Trade of Newark, NJ, for purpose of locating a glass works at that place. [China, Glass & Lamps, Feb. 16, 1899, p. 13]
