"Lignum Vitae Insulators, Crown Jewels of Another Kind"

This fantastic display shows a great variety of San Francisco wood insulators in both as found original condition and restored to showing the beauty of the wood.  This display received the following awards:

  • NIA Award for the Best of Specialty

  • Central Florida Insulator Club Award for the Best First Time National Display

"A Genuine Working Telegraph"

This interactive display provided two working telegraph key and sounder combinations connected across four poles with insulators was a big hit at the show.  This was a non-competitive display.

"Ridge Telephone Company"

This display great history and artifacts for the Ridge Telephone Company which implemented the world's first long distance telephone line.  This display received the NIA Award for Best of General and the Golden State Insulator Club Award for Best Use of California Insulators.
