2000 National Show Displays

"A Trip Around Lake Superior"

This unique display shows colorful insulators that were found in the lake Superior region including some tough pieces such as a CD 102 peacock blue Westinghouse, A purple smooth base CD 162 H.G.Co. signal and an amber American CD 160.7 "sno-cone"!  It received the Bob and Phoebe Adams Showmanship Award.

This display shows before and after examples of insulator cleaning techniques, and received the National Insulator Association Best of General Award
