1987 National Show Displays

There were 19 excellent displays at the show.  These included a mix of glass and porcelain.

"CD 700 - The Magnetic Egg"

This interesting display shows a wide variety of early "egg" style threadless insulators and mounting hardware and received the NIA award for Best of Threadless.

"Miniatures"

This display shows various miniature insulators and their larger counterparts and received the NIA award for Best of Go-Withs.

"Californias" and "Carnival Stars of the High Wire"

These colorful displays show the variety available in their specialty.

"A Wide Variety of Spectacular Colors and Shapes"

This nice display of colorful glass styles received the NIA award for Best of Color and the Central Florida Insulator Club award for the Best First Time Displayer at a National.

"E.C.& M. and California Electric Works"

This large display of CD 123's received the NIA award for the  Best of Specialty.
