To all whom it may concern:

Be it known that I, VERNON GEORGE CONVERSE, a citizen of the United States, and a resident of Pittsburg, in the county of Allegheny and State of Pennsylvania, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Insulators, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, forming part thereof.

Figure 1 is a side view of an insulator, showing my new design. Fig. 2 is a vertical section taken through the center of same.

As shown in the drawings, the leading of material features of my design consist of the horizontal petticoats a, the vertical petticoats b,

and the flaring base or shield c, arranged as shown in the figures, the petticoats being so arranged as to produce grooves intermediate the petticoats.

The insulator is provided with the screw socket for the supporting-pin.

Having thus described my invention, what I claim as new, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is -

The design for an insulator, substantially as shown and described.
