DESIGN FOR TELEGRAPH-INSULATOR.
Specification forming part of Design No. 9,858, dated March 20, 1877; application filed February 1, 1877.

To all whom it may concern: Be
it known that I, JAMES M. BROOKFIELD,
of Brooklyn, in the county of Kings and This
design consists in the combination of a cylindrical shaft, a
semicircular bead projecting beyond this shaft, a semicircular groove,
and a hemispherical top, whereby a novel and ornamental appearance is
imparted to my insulator. In the drawing, the letter A designates my telegraph-insulator, which is formed with a cylindrical shaft, a, a semicircular bead, b, projecting beyond the surface of |
said shaft, a
semicircular groove, e, forming the hollow member, whereby the bead b,
is connected to the hemispherical top d. By
these means an insulator is obtained which has a novel and ornamental
appearance. What
I claim as new, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is-- The
design for a telegraph insulator composed of a cylindrical shaft, a, a
semicircular bead, b, a hollow member, c, and a hemispherical top, d,
all as shown and described. In
testimony that I claim the foregoing I have hereunto set my hand and
