Quilt raffle for the2018 Show!

 

Announcing 2018 NIA National Fundraising Quilt Raffle:

This is a special project and will be available to everyone, not just show attendees (You will not have to be present to win). The quilt is a King size, 102" x 102". The blocks are machine pieced, but the quilt itself is hand-quilted. The underside is the same blue used around the outside of the club emblems. The quilting has begun and it should be finished in the next couple of weeks. At that time, another picture will be posted of the finished quilt.

The center piece is the NIA emblem surrounded by 32 emblems. Our thanks go to all of the clubs and the NIA for their assistance in obtaining the logos. A special thanks to Howard Banks, Bill Meier and Jacque Linscott-Barnes for their assistance in obtaining the older emblems and patches.

Raffle tickets are now available. Cost of tickets are as follows:

Tickets can be purchased by check, made out to "NIA" or "National Insulator Association" mailed to the address below. All monies collected from this raffle, will be to assist in funding the 2018 NIA National Show & Convention. If you pre-purchase tickets, your half of the ticket stub will be mailed to you. Any order for tickets done in the mail, must be received by Saturday, June 23, 2018. It is suggested that if you send your request in by mail, that you do so the latest of June 15, 2018. Raffle tickets will also be available at the National show up till the time of the drawing.

This drawing will take place at 11:30 AM on Sunday June 24th. We hope to have the drawing done "live" on Facebook. As stated before, the winner will not have to be present and if the winner is not at the show, the quilt will either be delivered or mailed insured, depending upon location and/or the availability of a direct delivery option.
