National Insulator Association Logan, Utah (Beehive State) |
The 2023 NIA National Show & Convention will be held June 9 – 11, 2023 in Logan, Utah. Logan is a small city in Cache Valley, a mountain valley located in the heart of the Rocky Mountains. It’s an easy 90-minute drive from Salt Lake City’s International Airport. The beautiful agricultural valley is nestled between two majestic mountain ranges and home to Utah State University. Logan is surrounded by several bedroom communities and is a slice of Americana that is like a step back in time. The pace is a little slower with many options for things to do. Attendees and their families can stay as busy or relaxed as they choose. Attendees can easily turn this show into a fantastic summer vacation. In addition to the multitude of things to do in the local area, Cache Valley is only 4 hours from Yellowstone & Teton National Parks and about 4 to 5 hours from most of Southern Utah’s National Parks. The show and all meetings will be held at the Cache County Fairgrounds Event Center, a relatively new facility completed in 2018. The building features a 20,000 square foot main hall with LED lighting and skylights for natural lighting. Adjacent smaller rooms will facilitate the Board meeting, Membership meeting, hospitality suites, etc. The building is air conditioned. There will be plenty of nearby parking. Loading and unloading will be at ground level. The NIA Awards Banquet will be held at the Riverwoods Conference Center, 1.1 miles from the fairgrounds and between the Marriott Springhill Suites and Townplace Suites, our host hotels. There are several other hotels in similar proximity to the fairgrounds. There are RV accommodations at the fairgrounds with WiFi access. Uber, Lyft, taxi and free bus service are all available in the valley. Since Utah is the “Beehive” state, the “beehive” insulator will be the theme of the show.
