SLEP stands for Société de l'Electro-Porcelaine (Electro Porcelain). The ceramic company, Electro Porcelain was started 1921 with the name SLEP. The company renamed CERALEP in 1973 with the combination of Ceraver (Andancette and Bazet) and SLEP (Saint-Vallier). In 2004 the firm was reorganized under it's employees under the name SCOP. SCOP CERALEP began with a staff of 53 employees; in late 2010 the workforce of 60 employees.
