CD 1049 and Bracket:

This cast aluminum transposition bracket closely matches the patent drawings.  The patent number is marked on the casting.  The four clear glass insulators on this bracket are CD 1049 and were made by Owens Illinois (Who owned Hemingray at the time).  This was known as a mid-span transposition which could be suspended from the wires allowing the two wires to safely cross over on the bracket.
