Transferred from U.S. Patent Office, July 18, 1908. Patented April 4, 1865. No. 47,141.
Block of wood 6-1/2 inches long, flat at the lower side, round at the top. An iron insulator hook is set in the block at the lower side with a circular tin plate surrounding it. The shank of the block, originally made to fit the hole in the telegraph pole, has been sawed off.
