2018 National Art Show

Have you found artistic inspiration in the insulator hobby? The possibilities are endless: painting, drawing, quilting, photography, sculpture, mosaic… or anything else! Insulators can capture the artistic imagination of the young, the old, and all ages in between.

Come join us at the Kansas City National for the SECOND National Insulator Association Art Show!

Either table or floor space will be available during exhibitor set-up time. You can bring your own easel, rack, or other display equipment if you want to use them. Please note that the hall does not allow hanging anything on the walls.

ALL PARTICIPANTS:  To ensure we can plan the exhibit space, please contact us no later than Saturday, June 9, 2018.

Requirements for entries:

  • You are a current NIA member in good standing.
  • Your entry is your own original artwork, related to the insulator hobby in some way.
  • Your entry is a recent work, completed within the last few years, with no part of the work exhibited previously.
  • We’ll have three categories based on the age of the artist: 18 and up, 12-17, under 12.

We will collect ballots from show attendees for the people’s choice in each age category. Winners will be announced at the NIA Awards Banquet on Saturday evening. The winning works will be featured in Drip Points!
