Educational Insulator Tags

Rick Soller, the current NIA Historian, has come up with an excellent idea for insulator education and hobby promotion.  The idea is to make informational tags for more common insulators to provide information of historical interest as well as information on the insulator collecting hobby.  Currently Rick provided a tag for the CD 129 Hemingray T.S. insulator, he will add more insulators over time.

To make an informational tag for the following insulators, click on the desired insulator below.  It will open a 2 page document to print.  Photocopy these two pages back-to-back (or print them out that way).  Make three horizontal cuts across the page between the blocks of text.  Fold each cut in half so that the heading "About This Insulator" shows.  Use a hole punch to put a hole in the upper left corner of the folded piece.  Put a rubber band or piece of string through the hole and attach it to your insulator.
