2008 National Show

The NIA Awards banquet! This years banquet featured a buffet including roast beef and salmon. The food was excellent and everyone seemed to enjoy the meal. The Hosts had worked with glass guru Mark Lauchner to make a special E.C.&M. Commemorative for the show. Each table had one as the centerpiece and one lucky collector was able to win it at the end by a random birth date selection. Not many of there were made and they were not available for sale at the show, so it is a meaningful memento of the show.

Pretty much a sell-out, the banquet was well attended this year.	Elizabeth and Jim Bergman receive the NIA "Best of show" award for their fantastic French insulator display.
NIA Lifetime membership was awarded to Larry & Pat Whitlock	NIA Lifetime membership was awarded to Tom & Linda Katonak
Incoming NIA presendent Bob Stahr presents the show hosts, Howard & Linda Banks and Steve Watkins, with the National show host award.	Tom Katonak presents Kevin Jacobsen with the outgoing NIA president's award.
