"The Kern-1 Line - 1907"

This fantastic display showed insulators found on a powerline built in Kern County in 1907 including the rare M-4800 in grey!  This display won the following awards:

National Insulator Association Best of Porcelain Award

Milholland Education Award

People's Choice Award for Most Outstanding Display

Power Line Explorer Journal Award

Best Presentation of Educational Material in a Porcelain Display (Jack H. Tod Memorial Award) 

Best First Time Display at a NIA National (Central Florida Insulator Club)

Best use of Power Insulators (Greater Chicago Insulator Club)

This display shows some amazing colored threadless insulators and related items.  It received the following awards:

Best Use of Railroad Embossed Insulators (Chesapeake Bay Insulator Club)
