This is a special insulator contracted by insulator collector Jason Townsend to the Allwin insulator company in China. The brown is a prototype that only a handful were made and several were damaged in testing. This is a dry process insulator and has passed testing to ensure the capability to support up to 11,000 Volts in use. Note this has no inner skirt.
