This insulator is attibuted to Messrs. Siemens Bros. & Co. of London and was made to the Capanema Patent for a porcelain self-tying insulator. This style was said to have been exported to Brazil for use there.

Note that this example was found in a Merklin porcelain factory dump (Czechoslovakia) and could have been made there.
