This style is nicknamed the Gingerbread man and has a metal shell cemented to a porcelain threaded insert.  It was found in Tunisia but most likely a product of France.  U number assignment from Worldwide Porcelain Insulators 1986 Supplement by Marilyn Albers & Jack Tod.
