The brown glaze version is a Ginori insulator made in 1892 for the Cossogno - Intra - Pallanza powerline (designed by Karl Sutermeister) at 5,000 Volts. Originally used an oil cup.
The white version was used on a very ancient wool factory in Prato - Tuscany. The were sold by Manifattura Ginori with the oil cup too.
