CERAMICA LIGURE

LIGURE VACCARI

The factory was founded in the late nineteenth century as a brick factory located in the village of Santo Stefano Magra in the province of La Spezia, Liguria, but it was thanks to the entrepreneur Genoese Carlo Vaccari, who realized the property of local clay, which started its great development with the production of ceramic stoneware and exported all over the world. A period of increased production came after WWII, but a crisis of liquidity and poor management lead to the closure for bankruptcy in 1972.
