JOBSON BROTHERS

   

 

Robert Jobson of Holly Hall works in Dudley England, an engineer by trade, obtained a patent for the manufacture of compressed porcelain and stoneware insulators. In 1873 he formed Jobson Brothers as a firm as a foundry and to make telegraph equipment. In 1885 Jobson Brothers merged with the firm of W. Buller and Co. who had also produced insulators since 1870.
