F.A.P.A. S.A stands for Fabrica Argentina de Porcelana Armanino S.A. Founded in 1838 by Professor Leopoldo Armanino and his brother Aquiles in Monte Grande, Esteban Echeverría Buenos Aires. The initial product was hotel dishes and it was the first Argentine company for white porcelain. With the second World War at transition to electrical insulators was made with sufficient quality to compete with the imports at the time. In 1954 FAPA built a high tension laboratory and started manufacturing insulators for 132KV and above which continues to today.
