A public limited company H. Schomburg & Söhne was formed in 1897 and had three factories, one in Berlin-Moabit, one in Großdubrau, and a third in Roßlau.The product range of the public limited company Schomburg & Söhne initially included porcelain for pharmacies and medical purposes. Later, the production focused on technical porcelain, mainly low-voltage insulators were produced for the emerging telephone and telegraph lines. In 1923 Schomburg and Porzellanfabrik Hermsdorf Klosterlausnitz merged under the name HESCHO.
