This factory was founded in the 19th century and in the 1880's it was bought by a merchant Berdnikov who re-oriented the factory from dishware to electric porcelain. It manufactured many kinds of porcelain and power insulators for outdoor and indoor use. The factory was mainly oriented on manufacturing telegraph and telephone insulators and low-voltage porcelain. Before World War I, their mark was letter Б. After World War I and Russian Revolution (1920-1934) the TR3 logo was used. Their factory mark from 1934 to about 1960 was the letter T in a circle followed by the cyrillic F in a circle from 1960 to 1974. Nowadays this factory still produces porcelain insulators including modern pintypes and uses the YN logo (Ukraine elektro insulator). The factory also produced sockets for incandescent lamps & fuse holders. Thanks to George Sukhoff & Alexander Nekrasov for this company history.
