CD 701.6:

This style is known as "egg" insulator due to its shape.  A number of these were found in a relic dig in Richmond Virginia of a Confederate Storage Depot in 1990.  Richmond was the capitol of the Confederate States and the depot was torched to avoid the contents falling into Union hands in April, 1865.  Photograph courtesy Dwayne Anthony.
