This CD pair is known as a "Two Piece Transposition" and is a smaller version of CD 190/191. The base (CD 192) has a through hole to allow the pin to screw through for the top (CD 193) to screw down firmly. Transposition was necessary similar to twisted pair in telephone cables to reduce crosstalk.
