Lyndeborough Glass Works

This rare item was dug at the site of the Lyndeborough Glass Works of Lyndeborough, NH.  This closely matches the patent drawings in the Frank L Pope patent  to allow the insulator to be replaced without untwisting the tie wire.  Note that this patent was issued shortly after a similar patent by Joseph S. Lewis which has the threads going in the opposite direction.  Note that this piece has a slotted pinhole and smaller than standard threads and the base refers to a patent by Laurence B Gray and Joseph Ham for forming threads in insulator.
